Fill the four footer columns with author widgets.
Here I will show you how to use the footer.
Escritora has four footer areas and a set of widgets made for authors. Go to Appearance > Widgets and place widgets into Footer 1 to Footer 4. Empty columns disappear and the row balances itself, so any number from one to four looks right.
The author widgets are:
– Book covers, a small shelf of covers linking to their pages,
– Genres, your genres with the number of books in each,
– Recent excerpts, links to your latest samples,
– Reader review, one review with its stars, fixed or changing each visit,
– Social icons, the profiles you set under Social Profiles.
You can also use the standard WordPress widgets, such as a newsletter form or a short text about yourself. The footer menu sits above these columns.
