Escritora is built to need very few plugins. Its main features, books, excerpts and reviews, are part of the theme, so you do not need a plugin for those.
These plugins pair well when you want a little more:
– A contact form, such as Contact Form 7. Paste its shortcode into the contact section under Customize > Front Page.
– A cookie notice, if you use one, for visitors in the EU.
– An SEO plugin, if you would like more control over search engine descriptions.
– WooCommerce, but only if you want to sell books directly from your own website. If you simply link to Amazon, Apple Books or your own external shop, you do not need it. Escritora styles WooCommerce pages in its own colours when it is active.
Fewer plugins means a faster, safer and calmer website. Add only what you truly use.
