Escritora is a literary theme for self-publishing authors, built on the Twenty Twelve framework.
In this manual I will show you how to install and set up the Escritora theme. You will learn how to present your books, publish excerpts for readers to sample, gather reader reviews, and make the theme your own with colours and fonts. By the end your author website will look finished and be easy to keep up to date.
Escritora is designed around three kinds of content: Books, Book Excerpts and Reviews. Everything else, the front page, the menus and the styling, is built to show that content beautifully. You do not need any page builder or a long list of plugins. The theme is deliberately simple, so you can focus on your writing rather than on settings.
