In this tutorial I will show you how to set up the newsletter band on the front page.
- Create your sign-up form with the plugin of your email service and copy its shortcode.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Novelisto Homepage.
- Paste the shortcode into Newsletter form shortcode.
- Change the Newsletter title and the Newsletter text to your own words.
- Optional: choose a picture under Newsletter: background picture. A veil is placed over it so the words stay readable.
- Publish.
Until you add a form shortcode, visitors do not see the newsletter band. While you are signed in you see it with a reminder. To hide the band for good, untick Show the newsletter band.
